This Is Just to Say by William Carlos Williams- In this poem the speaker has eaten plums which were not his but belonged to someone else that was saving them and probably looking forward to, the speaker could not resist them and apologizes and claims how amazing and tasteful they were.

l(a by e.e. cummings- The form of this poem is very different and unique compared to most, it is like someone is sounding out the sounds, the speaker speaks of a leaf falling, breaking down each part of the word, and relates the falling leaf to loneliness.

In a Station of the Metro by Ezra Pound-  This poem is extremely short and filled with imagery, it gives the reader a quick image of a crowded metro station with tons of faces zooming past and connects  this image to the image of petals on the branch of a tree.
