Poems for Tuesday

 “This is Just to Yay” by Williams Carlos Williams was about how the speaker gave into temptation by eating the plums that were not to be eaten at that moment.

“L(a” by e.e. Cummings the speaker feels lonely and they express it by contrasting it with the falling of leaves.  This type of poem is called lyric.

“In a Station of the Metro” by Ezra Pound the speaker is describing the faces he sees in the metro. He describes the metros atmosphere as dull and lonely in this two-line poem.
