Part 3- Nik Lelifanovski

My main objective in this discussion is to explore how the boy in the poem viewed his situation based on the potential lasting effects of the harm to his mind. I feel that this happens to many people in the world when they have a cycle of destructive thoughts, causing them to have a depression and perhaps suicidal thoughts.  Such abuse is particularly destructive and is not the fault of the abused.  People should feel safe when they are with their family and at home. The boy tried to look at the perspective in a positive way no matter how harmful it was, because it was his father and he loves him. The boy loves his father so much that he will always forgive him for what he has done and give him another chance, even though it will probably be repeated.  Thus is the ironic tragedy.
